German desert: Grießbrei

Almond semolina severed with fruit


  • 500ml almond milk
  • 6tbsp of semolina made from durum wheat (Hartweizengrieß)
  • 2tbsp of sugar
  • Fruit of your liking



  • Cook the almond milk in a pot
  •  Mix the dry semolina with the sugar
  • As it starts to boil add the semolina and sugar and immediately whisk it well.
  •  Whisk fir about 3 minutes while it is cooking.
  •  Let it cool down and serve with fruit!
