It all began back in September 2017 when I started hosting my own radio show on St Andrews Radio (STAR) about sustainability and climate activism. In my second year of hosting my weekly show I decided to start posting podcast episodes from the live show recordings. Thus, my Eco-Activist Journeys podcast was born!
I hosted my weekly radio show on STAR for all four years of my undergraduate studies at the University of St Andrews. From all the extra-curricular activities that I got involved with – hosting a weekly radio show brought me more joy and fulfilment that I could express. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank all the guests that joined me and shared their expertise with me and the listeners. Especially, I want to thank my listeners, friends, and family that supported me in this journey. It was not always easy and definitely a huge time-commitment to prepare and host a live radio show on a weekly basis. I learned so much and even though my time to St Andrews has come to a close – this is not the end of my radio and especially not my podcasting journey.
My Eco-Activist Journeys Facebook page is also still live so if you want to stay updated and find out what is happening next check it out: https://www.facebook.com/ecoactivistjourneys/
